Manoël Couder Homepage

My name is Manoël Couder. I am an assistant professor in the Nuclear Science Laboratory at the University of Notre Dame. I am interested in questions associated with the formation of the elements in stars and on earth. To study nuclear reaction of astrophysical interest, I am commissioning the St. George recoil separator and plan, with the CASPAR collaboration, the installation of an accelerator laboratory underground. On earth, isotopes are used in research, climate studies but more importantly in the medical field for diagnostic and treatment. I am interested in studying alternative method of production of radioisotope. A way to go away from nuclear reaction and from highly enriched Uranium material.
The aim of this page is to present myself, my work and some funny stuff. You will find a summary of my work and my curriculum vitae.
